This Masterclass delves into using microcontrollers, engineering design concepts, basic mechanics, and prototyping techniques to design intelligent robots.

Anjana Jain comes with 36 years of experience in the field of computer technology and education. She has a Masters in Multi Disciplinary Studies from SUNY, Buffalo and a Masters in Business Economics from Delhi University, India.
She started her career with a leading IT company in the early 80’s and then moved on to the education sector. She has pioneered computer education in Indian schools. She actively participated in the curriculum development program of NCERT for computer education in India. She has authored ‘Computers Ahead’, a series of six books in computer science for grades 3 to 8 that are being used by local schools across India for the past twenty years.
After ten years with Delhi Public School RK Puram, she moved to the American Embassy School, New Delhi and continued as an educator for over two decades. In addition to teaching IB and AP Computer Science courses, she introduced Robotics, Design Technology and Game programming at the school. She has served as a moderator, team leader and examiner for IB Computer Science for more than a decade now.
Her innovative experiments with injecting new technologies in the classroom and belief in experiential learning led to the metamorphosing of the robotics and design technology classes into safe spaces to tinker and explore; and where all attempts at design and creation were celebrated with enthusiasm. She says that her learning continues.
